Check out this spoof fashion spread over at Radar. The perfect cure for magazine-induced summer swimsuit anxiety.
I love the text with this photo:
"People think I don't eat, but that's a total lie. Ask my friends—I'm always pigging out on Cosmos and menthols."
And, as a nice counterpoint to our toothpick-like celebutantes in the US, why don't you ponder this for a moment.
While this photo (a spoof of a scene from American Beauty) was intended to inspire weight loss through consuming a Brazilian company's yogurt (marketed with the tag line "Forget about it. Men's preference will never change. Fit Light Yogurt"), I think they failed miserably. This woman looks gorgeous, happy, confident, and -- dare I say it -- a lot more like someone I'd want to roll around in rose petals with than the original photo's Mena Suvari below. Any of you menfolks out there care to -- ahem -- weigh in on this one?

Yeah . . . wasn't that scene in the roses from American Beauty actually supposed to be a bit disturbing? I always felt like it was . . .
