Photos, Contact Info (updated)

Hey! Want to see the pictures I can't figure out how to upload to this blog? Go to: http://photobucket.com/albums/b103/bridgettb/
You'll need a read-only password - just type in the name of the country where I'm currently living. (Why I don't just write it here I don't know, this isn't exactly top secret.)

Also, you can check out photo albums from several different volunteers who are very fancy with their little digital cameras. I only have a manual, and it promptly quit working once I arrived. I'm going nuts without it and think I'm going to try to get it fixed in the capital. Those digital cameras are nice, but somehow just not the same...it seems a less-satisfying experience to hold up something the size of a micro-machine and push a button. Plus I drop everything I own (you should have seen my cell phone) so there are more practical reasons I like my trusty, all-metal old camera.

But I digress. Here's that link: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/pcmoldova17/my_photos

Also, although I couldn't figure out how to edit the various columns of info on here and therefore had to place the info under "interests" (help, Kristin!) I have added my contact info. I've listed again the PC office address, as well as - eek! - my new cell number. I haven't actually bought the phone yet, though - I'm supposed to buy it somewhere possibly sketchy this Sunday to try and get a decent deal on it. Probably not the best thing to do with my meager funds when I have winter clothes to buy, but, well, everyone else is doing it. Actually I think it will be nice to know that if family or friends call me I'll be reachable regardless of time or location. As soon as I can I'll also list my home number and address in Balti, because supposedly the letter pilfering goes way down when you send letters to a residence rather than the PC office. This is great news because as far as most of us can tell, letter pilfering is bloody EPIDEMIC! So frustrating. All of us at meetings look at the lucky volunteers opening their packages full of Halloween candy, scarves, etc, and dream of receiving just ONE of the letters people back home tell us they've sent. (Don't ask me why packages come through without problems.)
